Hi all, I am a mother of two gorgeous boys, the youngest of whom is 6 and suffers from Asperger's Syndrome. Whilst I have a very loving husband and my boys, I seem to be caught up in a battle with food, particularly at the mo, and may be due to depression (I am on antidepressants).
I seem to eat when I'm happy or sad, congratulating or commisserating myself, if I feel ill or not - it just does in and doesn't stop and all I think about is the next thing I can pop in.
I'm 5'4" and currently weight about 11st 10lb. Ideally I would like to get back to being 9 1/2 stone but 10 stone would do very nicely.
I am currently a member of a slimming group but haven't been for a few weeks - I just can't stick to the diet plan and so it's a waste of money.
Am hoping that I will make some nice friends on here who will feel able to help me 100% of the way (I'm sorry but am a real needy person particularly at the mo) so that I can shift this weight and eat much more healthily for good.
My little boy is such a fussy eater due to his condition and, against my better judgement, I feed him whatever he wants rather than see him starve (and believe me he would!) and my hubby is also a fussy eater.
Can anyone please help?
Ali
