Hi all,
So my BMR is calculated as being 1,378 calories a day.
I weigh 144 pounds - goal weight is 126 so i need to lose 18 pounds. I am aiming to lose a pound a week to get there.
When i put this into my MFP goals it says i need to eat 1220 net calories a day. I aim to work out 3 times a week but i always have a "treat meal" on a saturday so my calories for that day work out around 1800/2000.
Is it ok to stick to 1220 a day and eat more on one day a week - therefore eating back some of my exercise calories in one day? im worried about eating too little as dont want my metabolism to slow down! thank u xxx

My advice, even though I know that's not the question you ask, don't aim to work out. Schedule it ahead and stick to it. Schedule a back up plan too. It's a matter of commitment. Otherwise it is too easy to fall off and not go through with especially when the novelty wears off.0

Following on from one of the other comments, if you haven't got time to go to the gym and work out, remember that a brisk walk for 20 minutes will help a lot and you can do that from the car park to the office etc.0
