Do you log your coffee? I did and was a little shocked by the carbs and such.....I don't do lots of cream or sugar, so I'm wondering if it's even worth it to log it??? :>/ thanks!

I log whatever I put in it, but if I drink it black, I don't count it at all.

Carbs? Surely not in the coffee itself - just in the milk/sugar?
  • Personally I don't.

Straight, black coffee is quite healthy for and has just a couple of calories. However, the calories add up quickly when dumping sugar, cream and syrups into your cup. Stay away from those and you're golden.

I only log my coffee if it has anything in it aside from zero calorie sweetener, which is very rare.

I log my coffee....2 calories is 2 calories :) I usually drink flavored coffee, like hazelnut and pumpkin spice and I will add creamer...but even if its black I log it, but thats just me! :)

    Coffee doesn't have carbs.

I see you've logged a generic entry "coffee with cream and sugar". Try logging black coffee, then the amount of cream and sugar separately.

If I have it black no; if with milk then its best to log it as a cup of coffee with semi skimmed milk is 17 calories.

I log it most of the time. I always log cream/sugar if I put it in.

I drink two very large mugs most mornings, comes out to about 8 calories I think, so I do add them. I don't count that as my water intake.
I do drink mine black, so no extras...but for accountability, I do it personally.

(Technically it does have carbs, but it's less than one gram per serving.)

I do log coffee but only because I log everything. I take it black with 2 sweeteners so it's about 4 calories a cup.

I don't worry to much about macros. I'm anal enough about calories
