It's 22 weeks till I go to Florida, this will be the first time in 6 years we will have had a holiday and I really want to lose around 20lbs by then

I've been exercising and building it up for the last 2 years, seen pictures of me on my 30th birthday party and it scared me how big I looked, so I built it up gradually until I am now doing spin, body pump, body attack and doing a good cardio and weight program on days I don't do classes. A typical week for me would be 3x body pump, 2 spin and body attack

I look so much better than I did 2 years ago and I have lost some weight but my clothes size is still a fair bit bigger than i would like it to be and especially when it comes to bikini's and walking around disney and water parks

I don't care if the scale doesn't go down much but I'm not really loosing inches either

I've cut out all fizzy juice, only drinking diet with alcohol, which is few and far between, cut out all crisps and nuts etc and cook everything fresh and sticking to my calories and keeping macros down as well, I've set my macros to 40/30/30 to and I am constantly looking for ways to reduce carbs and up protein - I just feel as if nothing is happening

Please I don't want to get mistaken as shamu when I go to sea world :D

Edited to add I have only lost 8lbs in 4 months

Hmmm... I'm no expert but wondering if you get enough calories? Sounds like you are exercising plenty. Maybe up your calories a little bit (by 100-200 or so) to compensate for the exercise and see how it is in one to two weeks. I know you feel like you are getting nowhere... but surely you are noticing some changes? Better sleep, more energy, lighter step, freer joints, clothes fit differently? I've only lost 4.4 pounds in 5 months, so 8 pounds in four months sounds fantastic to me :) I can feel my body composition changing and have lost 10 inches the last 2 months. I know it can be frustrating to see how slow it goes, but it looks like you are actually doing pretty well. 8 pounds in 4 months comes down to about .5 pound a week, and that is good. You are doing well. Keep it up!

Check out fat 2 fit radio... they have calculators and also talks about plateaus.

    Hope this helps!
