So I've been doing my 30 day shred video the past couple of mornings and I'm sore. That's great that I'm sore, means I'm doing something right!

Anyhow, I was putting a binder together at work and had to use the hole puncher to put holes in all of my papers (obviously, what else would I be using a hole puncher for?). I noticed when I pushed down on it I could REALLY feel my ab muscles. It made me think about when your muscles are sore how you can feel them every time you use them. Just curious about things other people do that they didn't realize a particular muscle was apart of???

your core muscles play a role in every thing you will ever do your entire life, they are designed to resist movement not to perform a movement which is why planks will hit the core muscles harder than sit-ups or crunches will. so when you went to punch holes your sore abdominal muscles had to resist the motion your arms and shoulders were creating, hence the sensation you felt.
