weekends are killin' me

This is the first time I've ever consistently logged my eating and exercise habits and it's been quite an eye opener. I usually stay right at my 1200 cal every day mon-fri. But then the weekend comes along - and it's always something (easter, birthday, parties, etc). So every monday I end up right back where I started. So discouraging!!! And probably not very healthy either.

How do you all handle weekends? Am I just spinning my wheels? Is as simple as self control? Any advise is appreciated - the weekend is looming! :(

    You could try focusing on week long calorie goals as well as day-to-day goals?

    Also, are you going ALL OUT those 2 days? Because 5>2, so you may not be "spinning your wheels", and if the 5 days of clean eating is not reflecting it on the scale... it could be water retention from the extra stuff consumed during the weekend.
