i posted the other day about using meal replacements to kick start my weight loss, but i know they have loads of sugar and stuff in them. so could i use home-made fruit smoothies with some protein powder in them as a home-made meal replacement? any ideas/hints would be great

I do a smoothie for breakfast sometimes, something different and fairly quick. I don't know that I'd want to do it everyday, it doesn't keep me full as long as eggs or greek yogurt with nuts and berries.
We use a protein powder (vanilla)
fresh baby spinach
flax seed
whatever frozen fruit in the freezer, usually berries
1/2 banana if have any
a little of whatever juice is open in the fridge or water to make everything blend
no need for ice witht he frozen berries
When I ate peanut butter a blueberry smoothie with peanut butter was my fave. Might try some almond butter in the next one and see how it turns out.0
