How often?

I started jogging for 2 miles everyday since last week, and been counting calories since Monday. But I decided to up the ante and started doing Nike Training Center (iPhone app). I'm just wondering if I should do it everyday or every other day. I'm willing to do it everyday but I'm not sure if its safe to do so.

    If you're a beginner, I would run every other day until you start gaining endurance. On your off days, cross train (lift weights, bicycle, swim, yoga, etc..).

    I've found that it helps to have a goal and then schedule around that with running training. Make a goal like "I want to run a 5k by May" or "I want to have my mile time under 10 minutes in a month" and you can figure out how often to run based on that.
