The link above is a news story about a study showing that we lose our ability to burn calories effeciently when we don't get enough sleep. The four cornerstones of my weight loss program are water, sleep, walking, and visualization. Sleep has been my biggest challenge.

That explains a lot for me!
My weight gain and my lack of sleep coincide perfectly. I struggled but was able to get down in weight after I had my daughter- not all the way down but a good amount. My son, however, never slept and I never lost my baby weight from him. And now I still do not sleep like I should. At night I have a difficult time sleeping either due to anxiety or just wanting to have my alone time and I have to get up early every day.0 -
