Healthy Recipes that dont cost much to make?

Does anyone have any recipes that are healthy but don't cost a lot to make and dont have ton of ingredients? Thanks in advance!

I would go to foodnetwork.com and search for Claire Robinson and/or Ellie Kreiger. Claire Robinson has a show called 5 ingredient fix and to me seems like she is a health nut. Ellie Kreiger is also a health nut0

I recently stumbled on a website called "Broke & Healthy" and they have recipies. Check this out:

Personally I think one of the cheapest things out there that is also full of nutrition and easy to make is lentils. Actually dried beans of any kind but lentils have the advantage of you don't need to soak them. One bag of lentils costs $1 and includes 14 servings. Typically I will use them to give substance to home made vegtable soup but they also make a great veggie burger when seasoned, mashed up and made into patties. They can also be mixed with chopped fresh veggies for a salad or chopped cooked veggies for pilaf.
Another great bean recipe -- soak a bag of dried pinto beans overnight, the next day put them in a soup pot with one onion cut up, one bell pepper cut up, several cloves of garlic, a can of diced tomatoes, some oregano and salt and pepper and let it cook on low for a couple hours. It is like the "ranchero beans" you sometimes get in a mexican restaurant and is amazingly delicious. I have served this for company and alway get compliments on it and that one pot of food is about 10 servings.0 -
