Life isn't fair

So, I've been working out for about 6 weeks, watching what I eat for about 3. DH decided to join me in working out a couple of weeks ago. He eats what he wants, and as much of it as he wants. I push myself when we work out, he's happy to stay with his current set of weights, take the easy modifiers, quit early, etc. and is not particularly careful about form either. So guess who has a shrinking waistline and noticably more defined muscles?
Yeah, it isn't me. And it isn't because we're starting at different places, fitness or weight wise. Frustrating!

Men frequently lose at a faster pace than women. Never compare your results with a man - or anyone else. You are unique and if you just keep doing what you are doing you'll be seeing great results soon too.0

I think that my head knows this, but it's hard to see him get better results on half the effort. Oh well, at least both of us are getting healthier.0

I know exactly how you feel. I have been hitting the gym 3-4 times a week and working out hard for over 3 months now, and eating much better than before, even on my worst days and I am not seeing the results. This morning I was so depressed because my weight has gone up! WTF0

lol I feel your frustration.
My bf and I started doing this together at the beginning of December (despite what my "joined" info says...I didn't start using it regularly until this past December!) and he is down 20lbs just by eating healthier and staying within his calories, no exercise. I stay within my calories, walk to and from work, walk on lunch, and sometimes do exercise videos or zumba, and I have lost, and gained, and lost, the same 3lbs since I started. Now granted, he has more to lose than I do, but it's still frustrating! Happy for him...but seriously not fair!0
