Daily Water Intake

OK.. I know I am supposed to drink lots of water. I can usually get in the 8-8oz servings but beyond that I am having a very hard time. Could someone please explain to me why drinking so much water is so important? I get that it flushes your system, your body needs it...all the easy stuff. I feel like I am sloshing around! I gag sometimes trying to drink so much water! I feel like all I am thinking about is how much water I am drinking! What is the difference in drinking 64 ounces and 120 ounces in one day? Sorry guys....I just don't understand! Thanks for your help!

Water is good for you and yes it flushes you out. However don't force yourself to drink it just because you think you should. Drink when you are thirsty. So what if you don't get those 8-10 glasses a day (and I believe the size they use for a glass is 8oz).
It's kind of like people telling others "ohhhh eat back those exercise calories" just because it's there doesn't mean you have to or should. Nobody should force themselves to eat if they are not hungry, and yes some people push that idea around here.
64oz is about 8 glasses of water a day.0 -
