I am suppose to go here for a corporate lunch.

http://www.busboysandpoets.com/menu.php

I looked at the menu and also called the restaurant. They have no nutritional value posted anywhere nor do they have it. How can I find out and make the best decision as to what to eat that's healthy and also WW+ points?

When in doubt, just have the most basic thing on the menu. A salad with chicken or a simple sandwich. Don't panic. It's just one meal.

ahh thanks it's like I knew that just needed to hear it
  • OH! I work in D.C. Please let me know how this place is and maybe I will have to try it one day. I'd recommend:

Chicken Quesadilla - No Cheese or Sour Cream
    Vegan Quesadilla
Steak and Asparagus Salad - But inquire about their light dressing options
Turkey Burger - No Mayo and then maybe eat only 1/2 of the bun

    ENJOY! :)

Basic salad + chicken or fish + dressing on the side so you can control those points :)

Unless you exclusively eat at chain restaurants (which I don't) this issue will come up again and again. Be sensible and stay away from fried stuff, creamy stuff and anything that sounds calorie laden. Eat sensible portions of the healthier sounding stuff (broiled and grilled are good words to look for regarding meat).

You know what foods are highly caloric and what aren't and I am sure you know what a reasonable portion of something looks like...you've got this!!!
