Resting Heart Rate

Hi my Resting Heart Rate is 56 is that good for me a 40yr old woman 5ft 4inches doing cardio 6 days a week

with strength training in there as well haven't done me heart rate when i have exercised yet think might ask me PT to take it

    The average resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 80 bpm, below 60 is good - it's proof that your cardio conditioning is working. I seem to recall reading somewhere that Lance Armstrong had a RHR in the low 30s. Just make sure to keep it above zero.

    Mine is 54
    I'm 34 and 5.7 feet/inches.
    A paramedic told me it was too low!
    I was polite and mentioned my workouts and lifestyle.
    (He wasn't there for me, for a family member)
