Is it common to stall weight loss when starting a workout routine? I've barely moved on the scale and basically maintaining my weight- Pretty frustrating.

That happened to me. When I started working out, the scale didn't budge for a while. Have you tried measuring yourself? You might be losing inches without losing pounds.
Hang in there...weight loss takes time if you're working out at the same time. I've noticed in general (and this is totally an oversimplification) that when people only cut back on calories, they're more likely to shed pounds vs fewer calories PLUS exercise.0
