When I look at myself...I see someone I don't recognize. I know I'm in there somewhere under all the "chunk". I'm not sure of my lack of disapline or lack of energy is to blame for no results...I also would love to know how to cook "good" (and affordable) for my whole family...it's hard bc my hubby doesnt consider it a full meal unless we have meat, veggies n a starch (almost always taters! But sometimes pasta or white rice) He doesnt like sweet taters so thats out, and I dont care for brown rice...what to do? I dont know where my energy has gone, not sure how to cook one good meal everyone is satisfied with...all very discouraging...makes ya wana throw in the towel!

Welcome! I have found that it takes time to redevelop good eating habits. I've been gradually changing my habits, and the stuff that used to taste good (Coke is a great example) tastes terrible to me now. But it takes time.

I'd try to change one thing at a time. I've changed my family from white pasta to whole wheat - by changing 25%, then 50%, than 75% of the pasta dish at once. I did the same with my hubby many years ago changing from 2% milk to skim.

It doesn't happen over night, but it will happen, if you stick with it. Good luck! Feel free to add me if you are looking for additional support!
