Need to do some 'body shocking' and mix up not only the physical activities you are doing, but also the duration and the time you do them. Our bodies get used to what we do really easily so hitting a plateau can last with you for up to 8 weeks sometimes. It has to take a big move to get your body changing gears again.

The other big thing to do is also increase your food and daily cal limit. If you change and increase the cal burning, you have to feed your body more but can do so by increasing the protein foods quite successfully. Eating protein within half an hour of excersise is where it will be used more than after this time where it apparently will just pass through you. This can build muscle which in turn burns more cals when moving and can kick off the fat burner inside.

Hope you get some good advice here. Hit a plateau myself recently but it was due to stopping routine and exercise to fix cars and renovate the house really! Had holidays to do the things we needed to do and my fitness routine got left behind. My own doing of course. Back into it again with starting tennis again today!

Try something new, that goes for eating as well. Most of all enjoy it, what ever you do.

Have fun, be good, if not just be good at it right!

    cheers

Wow, according to your ticker, you're really close to goal! Congrats!

    1. Try drinking more water.
    2. Change up intensity of your exercise program.
    3. Change up how many calories you eat, even try calorie cycling or carb cycling.
    4. Stop focusing on the numbers. Go with what feels right.

If you recently changed your exercise routine, that could also explain a stall in weight loss. I go through cycles where I'll lose a bunch, then gain and lose the same 3-5 pounds. I'm stuck in a stalling pattern again myself. I get very frustrated with it, but I have no one to blame but myself! Gotta stay away from those sweets...
