Did I eat too many jelly beans or is this muscle?

OK....So I started Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred 2 weeks ago....And here's what happened:
Weigh in #1: Down .4 lbs and 2 whole percentage points in BF%
Weigh in #2: UP!! 2.4lbs and down 1 more percentage point in BF%
Total..increase of 2 lbs and a decrease of 3 percentage points in BF%.
I have been within my calories during this time, although I did have a jelly bean issue around Easter that I tried to count as much as I could. I do love myself some jelly beans.
Can I chock this up to additional muscle or do I need to flog myself for not counting enough of the jelly beans?
Thanks for the advice!

Carbs make me retain water. Might as well eat little sponges. It drops off fairly quickly once I back away from the snack bin.0
