I think I'm losing my marbles!

Am I the only one who wakes up in the morning sometimes and thinks that maybe your weight loss was a dream?
Some days I wake up and lay there for a minute or to and wonder if these past 2 1/2 months have been a dream. Sometime it gets so bad I don't want to put on my smaller jeans just incase they don't fit. But then I get over it and just put them on and yes they still do fit and I have lost 24lbs.

Well I guess I am the only one that this happens too.:embarassed:
So if anyone finds some marbles on the floor they are probably mine. :ohwell:0 -
I don't dream about the weight loss, but when I gave up smoking I had nightmares about smoking again! I think it proves that you are determined and committed.
Well done on your weight loss! Keep it up and enjoy the madness, it means you are winning! lol:laugh:0 -
No, you're not! When I lost my first 20 lbs., I couldn't believe it, either! Throughout my entire weight loss, I spent a lot of time in department store dressing rooms trying on my old size and new, smaller size. I just couldn't wrap my head around the difference. There were also times I'd wake up in a cold sweat thinking I was my big, ol' self again! :laugh:0

I really hope you're right about the winning part. I sure don't want to be this size or bigger again. And just to make sure I don't even think about gaining back the weight I get rid of any clothes that are to big for me. I'm burning each and every one of those bridges baby!0

That is totally what I'm going through. I was in a store today with a friend who is way smaller then me and I didn't know what to do! I went to the plus size section and I had to keep telling myself that I'm wearing a size 14 now not an 18+. I still couldn't bring myself to try on anything. I guess I'm scare that the size 14s at the store might not fit. :sad:0 -
I struggle to understand how I could forget those pesky 80 pounds.....but I do it all the time!0

I caught a passing view of myself in one of the mirrors in the store and I thought OMFG was that ME? I didn't even recognize myself. Don't get me wrong I do have mirrors in my house but not that big. I kept finding myself going past the mirror and taking another peek. I'm sure the sales lady thought I was crazy. :blushing:0

Well, you do have to keep in mind that not all size 14's are cut the same. I would try on different brands and, more often than not, find myself doing a "happy dance" in the changing room! I went from an 18 down to a 2 and even at a size 2, I couldn't see the difference. When I got to my goal weight, I took my largest pair of jeans, laid them on my bed and placed my smallest pair over them to get a better perspective of the difference. I did that every day for about a couple of weeks and was astonished every time! Keep one pair of your biggest jeans and toss the rest. If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll be just as astonished as I was. Good luck!0
