    From Baton Rouge. Oh so your really a Southerner dressed like a Yankee, huh!? :laugh:

    born at General hospital... :wink: raised near the bayou... caught fish and snakes in the cooleys...

    I lost the accent real fast because the local Wisconsin kids are reuthless... :grumble: mean kids...

    I had Crawfish Etoufe with my family for my birthday ate at Pappdeaux :devil: it wasnt exactly the same but it was close to home...

    About how old where you when you transplanted? You know, I say I plan on moving up North to get away from hurricane's. Here it is that season again, and I'm still here.:frown:

    I was about 10 when I was transplanted... :frown: so 20 years ago...

    Yes M'am... They used to work for channel 10 accadianana! Aunt and Uncle, and then my cousins still live down there close by. but then I have alot of family up here. and then alot of family in Colorado, and some family out in Cali, and some in Vegas, then some in Georgia, and Alabama... and some in wisconisn, and Michegan... Seatle... we are all spread out...

    how about you? where abouts in La in the Red stick are you living?

    I guess thats why I haven't really pushed too hard to move away. But I don't really know where I'd like to live, I don't like lots of snow, and I don't like hurricane's, soooo...... what to do, what to do???

    Sorry for interrupting, (confetti n the air) noise makers and cheering! I broke the plateau!!! I BROKE THE PLATEAU OF A MONTH ! yes it finally happened I lost 2 pounds and broke the plateau!!!!

    I have been stuck with 3-4 pds for ever now! I am starting to think I'll just keep it! But its really cause I don't want to go to the gym! I stay active when I'm not at work, and get in physical activity where I can but I don't wanna go to the gym. I hate the gym!

    I hate the gym too, I have two bad discs in my back and it hurts to use so many of those machines! I changed my eating pattern, big calories in morning, middle in the lunch hours and very light in dinner time, same calories, just shifted around timing. hubby gone on vacation, no temptation to eat anything at 10 pm and finally!

    oh you can plant grass it will just be brown for the summer... AND you could always have cactus.. cactii.. LOL what ever they are plural...

    or you could just live in Texas.. out west though... or north texas... Hurricanes dont typically reach that far inland... :wink: Illl buy a place and we can move there together... :love: :flowerforyou: :tongue:

    well one's too little, the other has clubs, but hasn't gotten to really use them yet, and the other he might be scared of fish, but would probably bark at them!

    never too little to fish... never too little to golf... and WHY have you not taken him into the back yard and let him swing those clubs (wiffle balls) to get practice.. that is what my parents did with me.. that got me out of the house... then again the would lock the door once I was out... I used to hit my wiffle-balls at frisbees... I still do sometimes when I dont have time to go out and play...

    both r girls! 1 baby, not walking yet, and the other shes old enough and can hit the balls, but she doesn't have the ability to control herself from doing everything full force. So putting is full swing!

    not currently, thats why I have a male dog! no garantee I'd have a boy! Do you have any children?

    not right now... but I tell you this.. I wish sometimes I did.. I hate doing the dishes... I dont mind mowing the lawn but I think it would be cool to have a kid so they can do the dishes! lol :wink: if ya know what I mean... what else is the point of having children? how small is your pup? Artemis might confuse him for a snack... small animals and what not...

    my Red Tailed Hawk, or Buteo jamaicensis... :wink: good news is shes only about 2.5 pounds... :tongue: but she loves squirels... and rabbits... :happy:
