running shoes for high arches/underpronation

I've been using Saucony running shoes for the last couple years for running/cross training. They've been okay. My right arch is stupid high and last summer I tore my plantar fascia doing some high impact stuff. I've always wondered if that had something to do w/ my arch and my shoes.
Anyway, anyone with similar issues have any recommendations? I can spend around 100 bucks. (And I do need to go get fitted at a proper shoe store, like Luke's Locker, but have been kinda meh about it because I don't want to spend tons of money.)

Absolutely get fitted! You don't have to buy your shoes there! This is what I did...went to get fitted..wrote down the shoes that I really really liked then researched them on Amazon and found that a lot of the time they are cheaper. Also, ask them to show you models from last year, they're perfectly fine and are much cheaper than current models!

Would you go to the doctor for a diagnosis and then go home and self medicate? Buy your first pair of shoes at the running store at the very least.0

I like the idea of getting fitted at a running store then buying the same shoes at a cheaper store/place. I was planning on doing that for my next pair of running shoes. They can get expensive. I shop for the best price on everything else.0
