My doctor just put me on a no white food diabetic diet which means no white sugar, no white flour, no white rice, no white pasta and no potatoes! OK I've never been on a diet like this before but she thinks I need to do it for certain reasons. Does anyone know any good recipes I could use? I don't know how to switch over very well.

I certainly wouldn't argue with a doctor's recommendation, but I'm curious about what kind of recipe's you're looking for. Brown rice can substitute for white. If there's an issue with sucrose, are artificial sweeteners allowed, like Splenda? There's whole wheat pastas, which aren't my favorite, but they'll do--it really varies by brand. Potatoes can be switched out for other vegetables.

I know the items can be substituted with other items but I find whole wheat items to be kinda gross and I didn't know if there were any yummy recipes. I can only have all natural sugars
