Couch to 5k distance

Just curious how many days a week those of you doing the couch to 5k are doing it. Also if on a treadmill how far is it? I noticed my first day was 2 miles but now I'm on day 4 of week one and I just went 2.25. Is that normal?

    The distances vary depending on your speed if you are going by the time....I used the time portion when on a treadmill til week 4 when I started with distance....I figure that I'll gain endurance and speed the more I do... I've am on the last workout of week 6 and I started 5/6 so I am about 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

    I'd think its normal that your distance went up. The more and longer you run, walk or jog, the more comfortable your body gets and its easier to pick up your pace without even noticing :happy:

    Hopefully I will really stick with it ... motivation has been an issue for me :ohwell: But ... this time I have a Co-Worker who promised she'll keep me on track and actually will run the Turkey Day Race that we have here in town with me :happy:
