Snacks for after a late night workout?

I work out between 8 and 9 pm. (2 hours before bed) I always have extra calories. I have read that it's good to have a snack after a work out to help rebuild your muscles, etc. I usually try to have a snack around 150 calories or so... something with protein. Sometimes I will have some greek yogurt or cottage cheese, celery with laughing cow cheese spread, a handful of almonds. Tonight I had a cup of milk which I don't normally drink since I'm doing kind of a low carb thing. (and 2 chocolate mini eggs... but I worked out an extra 15 minutes to justify those)
What are some your favorite after workout snacks?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is the best post work out snack, but i have 1 cup of kellogs red berries with around 1/2 cup of unsweetened rice milk. i find it light but filling and the berries give enough sweetness so no sugar etc needed0

No need for a post workout snack. If you workout in a fed state, your body is already receiving a supply of nutrients. Adding additional nutrients to that does not help you build muscle.0 -
I only eat after a workout if it's time to eat.0

When I workout in the morning I like to eat an egg afterwards for breakfast.
Or sometimes, I just drink and glass of skim milk.0 -
quacker rice cake and peanutbutter natural0

I am also a late night work out person. I have heard that chocolate milk is a great after work out snack, that gives me the perfict excuse to drink hot co-co before bed. At least I think so. Lol0
