No sleep = No motivation

seriosuly struggling right now my 2 youngest don't sleep well my son still wakes 1-2 times a night but the baby wakes at least every hour and last few nights is awake for at least 1.5 hours in the night wanting to play I am so exhausted my son also was not well spiked a high temp and ended up in bed with me I'd just got the baby to sleep and he woke again and was awake for a good hour whining and tossing and turning then my eldest woke with a bad dream and wanted to get into bed with me too so had all 3 in with me. I think I have managed about 6 -8 hours sleep in total the last 3 nights I am that tired today the thoughts of exercise is killing me the thoughts of cooking healthy meals is killing me I just want to order take aways and veg out

Ohhh, I do feel for you. I have 2 little one's and sleeping is not one of their favourite things to do.... I know they say fresh is always best, but is it possible for you to cook extra at night and freeze it? So when it say dinner time, most of it is already done - just needs to be defrosted and a salad.
Exercising is very hard to do when you are exhausted and I never feel like its good for my body. See how it goes and maybe try and stick to just a good walk? That way you are doing something, but not pushing your exhausted body too much? Good luck!

thanks I'm going to put movie on for the kids and curl up on the couch and hopefully have a snooz for a while and I mgiht pick up some energy later to go for a walk but at the min I simply haven'y the energy to do anything just getting up to get them breakfast is a challenge right now.

so sick of it to be honest I haven't slept the night in over 2 years and it's just worse now I have 2 waking up, since I started dieting and working out in Jan I have been abl;e to cope sooo much better with the lack of sleep but every so oten it catches up on me especially when I've had a really bad couple of nights, I just wish I knew how I could get them sleeping my son has improved hugely he used to wake 4-6 times a night often more but now only 1-2 times and settles quickly if not sick (he's got his back teeth cutting through and they're really hurting him at the min) my baby girl is one now and up till about 3 months ago she was sleeping quite well waking once for a quick feed then back down till morning but she's waking soooo much now and won't settle back easily I'm so tempted to try some controlled crying with her something I swore I wouldn't do but I don't know how much more I can take I need more sleep than this in order to function and look after them properly in the day and for the energy to lose this weight I need to lose

sorry for the rant I just feel like crying right now I've had enough

As a nineteen-year-old who is not yet a mother (unheard of in the state of Arkansas), I can't relate too well, but when I feel exhausted beyond motivation or if I'm just feeling too lazy to exercise, a cold shower puts me in my place. Not an all-cold-water shower, but a cool one. It has a lot of health benefits as well -- melts away stress, powers up the immune system, heavily reduces allergies (so I've heard -- I have no allergies).

If you decide to give it a try, just take a normal warm or hot shower like you usually do, and turn the heat down just low enough that you can *barely* tolerate it (but you can tolerate it). When you get used to that temperature and it feels more tolerable, turn the heat down a little more. Just repeat that process until the water is cold enough to drink (not that you'll drink it, xD, but I mean that it feels like the temperature you prefer cold drinks). Just a couple minutes under water of that temperature will power your immune system and possibly give you an energy boost necessary to do a little exercise.

Hope that helps, or is at least even a little interesting~~~! <3.
