Struggling with keeping faith

At the moment I'm in one of the best places I've been as I'm happy with the weights I'm lifting and that I am pushing it on the exercise front. According to the charts I'm a healthy weight and BMI for my height. However I desperately want a flat stomach and the fat seems to be refusing to budge.

I know that I didn't gain it overnight so I won't lose it overnight either but not knowing how long it will take makes it so hard to keep going. I look at the pictures of women on here in bikinis and wonder if and how I will ever get there.

    First thing to establish is: is your stomach fat, or bloated? I used to have a sticking out stomach, then I found out that I was lactose intolerant and inslin resistant. Voila, no bloat! Certain fruits/veg (eg. beans, cabbage, apples) might cause bloating, as might wheat and other refined grains.

    If it's fat, you just have to keep on losing, because you can't spot reduce. Swimming is great for toning :)
