runners: hip pain?

I had a big 7 mile run three days ago, much of which was uphill in one direction.
the next day, my hip was sore. i've done two runs since then and it doesn't hurt when I run, but is always sore the next morning.
I've iced and looked up what could be causing it. I'm settled on hip bursitis.
Anyone experience this and can i expect this to be recurring?

Be careful with the hip. I got a good case of IT band snyndrome from which I never recovered and have been struggling to even walk since then. I was an avid runner and the lack of being able to exercise contributed to a large weight gain. See a PT ASAP.0
