Here I go again

Hello everyone on MFP. I always seem to be on a cycle, lose 10 pounds in the Spring and then those same 10 pounds again in the Fall. So, yep, this is the spring cycle and now I have an extra motivation, I've got to fit into my formal military uniform in 4 weeks. I like working out, so along with a few extra workouts and keeping track of my calorie intake, I should "get er' done"! I look forward to everyone's encouragement, and if I can encourage others, I'd be happy to do it. Read my profile and you'll see that I'm a fitness instructor, so would be glad to assist you with workout ideas if you need them.

Welcome back and good luck. I have to tell you that I really admire those of you who are fitness instructors. I don't know how you guys can remember all the steps to all the songs, especially if it is a Les Mills class (they have different cycles during the year, and just when I think I've got one down, they start with another one). I've been taking a step class for the last few years and really love it. Of course, I'm probably one of the older folks in the class, but I can keep up with the best of them. I hope that dress uniform fits real soon.0

Hi hopeitworks, Les Mills has developed a phenomenal workout program and I've never heard of anyone who doesn't like it. I've taught step since it started in the early 90's, in Michigan anyway. I still love teaching all kinds of aerobics but it is getting a little harder on the body. I'm glad you're still in there, being a role model to everyone else.0
