How do you REALLY know your body frame size?

I've looked up body frame calculators and they often ask for your wrist measurement, which makes sense. However, my wrist size changes depending on my weight so it had me wondering if it's really accurate? Especially for a person who might have a lot of weight to lose.

I bought a watch from Target a couple months ago and it was a little tight on my wrists, after losing some weight it fits comfortably. They didn't look any different to me, I wouldn't have even noticed if not for the watch!

I know that your bone size doesn't change, but the measurement that you take certainly can with weight change. What do you think?

*also, wasn't sure which forum to post in, so it went under general. and I know that frame size isn't really that important, I'm just curious.
