Hi everyone! It's been about three and a half weeks since I started this weight loss journey. In the first couple of weeks, I lost 5 pounds. I am going to my dietician next week to see how much weight I've lost since then (two weeks later). I feel like I haven't really noticed any results. I did binge on Passover and Easter, but I've been good since then. I just feel so fat. I know it's only been a few weeks, but I could've sworn on my previous diets I saw results sooner. Maybe because I was working out a lot more. Does anyone else feel this way?? Thanks!!

Take your measurements. Sometime those will allow you to see change faster then the scale. I feel like I've gained weight quiet often but looking at my measurements helps me realize that I haven't.0

Hello. I'm into my second week on MFP and I lost 2lb. last week. I'm so excited because I had been doing WW for four months and had gained 7lb. I've been doing Weight Watchers, MFP, and Lose It all at the same time, trying to find the one that works best for me. I can honestly say MFP has been the better choice. When plugging in the exact information on all three, I am over with WW by almost 15-20pts. WTH!!!! I realize now that WW doesn't allow for enough points (calories) in order to lose. My body was holding on to the food.
I know it seems life a few results, but don't give up. That has always been my problem. I think that I lost inches on WW but not pounds. I got discouraged because the scale wasn't moving and I just gave up and picked back up my old eating habits. Please don't make the mistake I made. It's hard starting over, even on a new program. You'll get there.0 -
hey friend
noticed youve been kinda discouraged lately. i feel the same way... almost always! what we;ve decided to do isnt easy and it takes time. its fustrating because the truth is.. i really just wanna look hot
what 19 year old doesnt? sure the health stuff would be awesome, but the biggest thing on a young adult's mind (at least min x) is looks. what i'm trying to do as of recent is focus less on LOSING WEIGHT... I'm trying to learn how to adapt a new lifestlye i can maintain hopefully forever. this being said, my prfile hasnt said "SnazzyTraveller has lost __ pounds since their last weigh in" for months and months now. ive been gaining but thats just life and i need to realize what im doing "wrong" and make some tweaks.
i would say try to find an exercise u love doing... and do it everydaylose weight and be happy
)) we're too young to be stressed out over these things!

JSwerve-I did weight watchers for YEARS. I couldn't even eat without counting points. I went to a dietician because I needed a change. I can't believe that it went 15-25 points over!! That's crazy. I always still felt a little hungry on weight watchers.
Snazzy Traveller-Thanks for the advice!! I want to look hot too!! It's def a hard, long road. But we need to think of it as a lifetime change0
