So I'm sick of lazy *kitten* guys who want to do nothing but play video games an watch tv. I don't ALWAYS want to be out but I'm tired of sitting on the couch all night and being unhappy. We're all here for the basically the same reason. We want to get healthy. So come on boys, lets get healthy together.

You owe it to yourself to find someone who will make you happy0

ooh me too girlfriend! whichever ones you dont want, feel free to toss em my way, i am sure i can find a way to mend their broken hearts!0

I once called in sick for almost a week when a new video game came out.
Oh wait, that adds nothing to this thread, huh?
It was a damn good week.
Good luck to you!0 -
Jamja- Yes I do and it's due time to be happy
Mybeach- You got it! Lol0 -
Some guys are just going to do that, regardless of how fit they are.
They could be in the best shape of their lives and even work out for hours every day. But if they're hardcore into video games or movies, nothing is going to exist to them except for the game/movie for a while. Just until they get it out of their system.
I'm like that with books, so I can't judge. If I find a good book, I tune people out for a while until I finish it.
But good luck just the same.0 -

I've requested vacation time for a new expansion coming out. I'm that nerd you see standing at midnight releases for games. Yep.
Have you tried playing the games your husband plays? I'd stay in on any given Friday to play video games.... yep, I'm a nerd...0 -

Nice planning ahead!0 -
My ex was that way ! I feel for ya !0

I actually like guys who play video games :flowerforyou: Like alot :flowerforyou:0
-
No no no, video games are fine! Lol We play games together and have favorite shows we watch together but I can't sit on the couch all day, everyday. I want someone who will go on a walk with me on a nice afternoon and not ***** about it and stomp their feet.0

I called off sick to play Wrath of the Litch King when it came out >_> Oops.
I guess that didn't add anything.
Well, you can be healthy and still be a gamer, enjoy movies, etc. But you do actually have to get out, have you talked to him?0 -
if you really dont like him... out de door! life's too short.0

Hehe ditto. Turns out I actually got MY husband hooked on my game. Games aren't all bad, but you have to definitely throw in some RL time too.0 -
I understand what you are talking about and it don't have to be just video games or tv there are other things that they are too in too and don't pay attention to what they have. I've been single for a few years now and it's nice not having to worry with all that. LOL0

I hear ya. I feel the same way about my husband. He never wants to go do anything. I want to go hiking but he complains about taking the kids. They would love it but I don't want to take them by myself. They're still pretty young.0
-
I'd be cool with sitting on the couch playing video games.. i just want someone to cuddle0
-
The only thing that comes to mind is, "Don't *****...DITCH"

Girls can be lazy gamers, too! I went to the midnight release of Skyrim, and didn't leave my house for 3 days. I did the Wii Fit Run, switched over to my Xbox, did two dungeons, and then went back to the wii to restart the run. XD0

I'm not dissing gamers! Sorry it sounded like that to begin with!0 -

I did want to mention that if your bf neglects you over a game, he needs to hit the road.0 -
I've never been much of a gamer. I've played a few while I visited my brothers last summer and while it was entertaining, I stopped after about 30 minutes. It wasn't that entertaining.
I am a golfer, though, so I'm sure that would drive many women crazy too.0 -
It's called communication for a reason!! Speak up!! If he still doesn't want to do anything with you then that is when you say "buh-bye!!" I know how it is. My bf could sit at home watching tv and playing video games all freakin day. I have to light a fire under his *kitten* but he does it for me and when he has his new game or whatever, I leave him alone or play along LOL!0
-
Sorry let me rephrase. I want someone who will support me in losing weight. Someone who wants to see my succeed and feel better about myself. I don't want someone who wont go for walks with me or someone who will bring home Burger King when I am having something healthy. I want someone who will try new things with me. Someone who will find the fun in exercise and having a healthier lifestyle.
I didn't mean to single out all the gamers lol0 -
I can see where you're coming from.
My ex-husband wanted to do nothing but sit in front of his pc all of the time. It was horrible.
I am an avid gamer myself and when there's nothing better to do and when I need a break from life, I will be playing a game to escape for a couple of hours.... BUT you won't find me turning down spending time with my friends and loved ones so that I can play. Some people just don't know how to put their real life before their virtual life and it can be very destructive to themselves and the people around them. It's incredibly selfish.0 -
I always thought there should be a "dating" thread for members here.
Dunno why there isn't.0 -
You are what you think
not what you eat
nor what you drink.
wow,
I think I am the only guy on here that doesn't play video games, or golf... always wanted to learn golf though....
I used to be a gamer, but then my nephew was born, and I started school... Though, my brothers have systems, I haven't played them. Games are fine, but I prefer knowledge and human interaction more.... even if it is just listening to someone else talk about games. lol
Eh, I hope you find all that you seek...0 -
Life is too short!
I totally understand!0 -

Wish it was this easy...0 -
