I started the couch to 5k program today, im 21 and i am 75.6kg

how do i log what exercise i have done today?

I have walked and jogged for 20minutes plus an extra 5 min warm up 5 min cool down and an extra 10 minute walk just to take me back to my house.

So how do i log a mixture of running and jogging?

I am on my first week on the program as well

I logged my first run as 8 min running slowly and the rest as walking at 3.5 mph pace. I suppose that's a bit underestimating, but I think it's better to underestimate the calories burned when exercising than overestimating them.

I use www.runningahead.com to track my running. If you put in your weight it will tell you number of calories burned. I manually enter this number into the exercise here. I also have calculated what my average pace was and use that number from the database.

Please hop over to the fitness/excercise section--there is a runners club page and it is a great community-some distance runners some just starting!! Good luck--I am competing in my first 5K tonight!
