I would like to start adding strength training to my exercise routine; however, I am just starting out and still pretty heavy and don't want to risk injury. There is not a gym near my home so I would like to find some beginner DVDs to use at home. Any recommendations??
FYI, I have limited space in which to work out, but I do have a weighted bar (30 lbs) and a good selection of free weights (2, 3, 5, 8, 12 lbs) as far as equipment.

You should get a copy of the book New Rules of Lifting for Women. I just started a couple of weeks ago, lots of people on here recommend it.0
