What foods are you eating now that you weren't eating before? It sounds like a reaction. Is it every meal, or just certain meals?

its most meals. It happens whenever i eat more than a snack. I really eat lots of the same foods. I have incorporated more vegies and fruit into my diet. I eat a fiber bar every morning for breakfest.

What kind of stomachache are we talking about? If you're adding a lot of fiber when you weren't eating much before, that could be the problem. That would be kind of a gassy/bloaty pain. You say you're eating a lot of the same foods--maybe adding a little more variety will help. In the meantime, try peppermint tea and/or crystallized ginger to settle things down.

Does it happen with cooked fruits and veggies, or just raw fruits and veggies?

I had problems with the raw ones. I found that I had to peel the apples, peppers and tomatoes or else I'd feel pain, it was the skin that was giving me problems because my stomach couldn't deal with it.. I also learned that I really had to over chew to a pulp things like carrots, lettuce, celery, oranges etc. because my stomach just couldn't break them down on it's own without a lot of pain. Cooking the vegetables made them much easier to digest with a lot less pain. I also found that veggies in general gave me gas pain, so it's possible you need to take something like Beano to help with the enzymes to break them down.

If you make your food diary public, maybe some of the other people here will have better suggestions for what might be the issue. You may want to talk to your doctor if it continues after some experimentation with changing what you are eating.

Fiber bars tear up my stomach... I can't eat them. I eat tons of fiber, but try to do it with fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

I actually had a question about tummies its not for me but for my sister it seems whenever she eats meats or vegetables cooked or not it seems she can't like "go" to the bathroom very regular if at all and can only do so when she takes a digestive enzyme suppliment but it still painful. She also had to have an ovary removed and she said since then the problem has gotten worse what do you think?
