steroids and appetite

Does anybody else take a steroidal medicine here for asthma or other inflammatory issues? How do you deal with the appetite increase? I'm on an inhaled steroid for asthma and as needed prednisone for bronchial inflammation and my appetite is really hard to control. (Please note - I'm not talking about illegal steroid use like some athletes do. I mean prescribed oral or inhaled steroids for illness.)
