Hi, I've been at it now for 7.5 weeks, exercising 6 days a week burning 400-600 calories per day plus working and changed my diet completly! I have lost 6 inches off my waist and about 13 pounds...only the last few weeks I seem to have been staying the same weight which is 312lbs...i'm getting frustrated and trying not to let it go to my head like I always have in the past and give up....I cannot give up! inspiration and advice please...?

Hang in there. You are doing great. You've lost almost 2 pounds a week, which is really good. You're body is adjusting. Keep doing what you're doing. It's better to lose weight slowly...slow and steady wins the race :) I know it's difficult because everyone wants quick results but just remember that it took a while to put on the weight, it's going to take time to take it off. That's the healthy way. Keep up the good work!

6 inches and 13 pounds is amazing!! Well done!!

Once I had settled into my new lifestyle I noticed I would go for few weeks with no loss then suddenly lose quite a bit in one week! The body is a strange machine and weight loss is never the same every week. Keep up with the measuring, make sure your eating enough. Also give your self a big congratulations for how far you've come already!

Have you thought about re-assessing your exercise - maybe mixing it up a little.
Our bodies get used to a certain level which could explain your plateau
