So a few weeks ago I posted about having terrible shin splints after running and I have taken around a week and a half break to rest it and also bought myself some swanky new runnign trainers all professionally fitted...apparently when my foot hits the floor my ankle was jutting out where as it should be at a 90 degree angle so I have insoles to help with that and did my usual 3 mile run this morning with no shin splints but had to stop half way around becuase of a pain in my foot!!!!! It'sthe outter part of my left foot (same one as the shin splints were in!) and its like a burning sensation more than an actual pain...can anyone tell me if it is due to the fact that I am now actually landing properly and my foot isnt used to it or something I should go see about?

Bump...let me know what you find out. I am heading back to the orthapedic doctor today , and going to ask him about that because mine hasn't stopped hurting and its been several weeks.0

I went again this morning, for a run that is, and the burning seems to have eased but I did not take my trainers off yesterday in a bid to wear them in properly so I think maybe its just the new shoe thing more than anything the running is doing. I do have some serious blisters though and they bloody hurt!0
