Hello everyone!

I just got my Fitbit on Saturday. Coolest little thing ever! My question is, how are you loggin your activity/calories burned on MFP because you are burning more the just your daily exercise? Yesterday I just put down the time I was on my treadmill because I was not sure. This little thing is deff. helps with motivation...I love it!

Thanks!

When I run on the eliptical, I note the time on the fitbit and start the stopwatch function. I stop it at the end of the run. I then go on mfp and log the exercise using the start time I previously noted on the fitbit. I use the calorie count on the eliptical because it takes into account the resistance level I had during the run.

When I sync my fitbit, it will take the input from mfp and not double count that time but will show it as an "activity" on your fitbit account.

I just got mine, too, the other day. Confused though on which site is better to log my activites on -- MFP or Fitbit. If I choose to log it in Fitbit, will it show up on MFP? I'm asking this only because when I bought my Fitbit, I was under the assumption that I don't even need to log in my activities as the Fitbit will do all that for me. Guess I was wrong on that one. But as far as logging in now goes, the question is whether to log on Fitbit or MFP. Many thanks -- I am enjoying my new gadget.
