got stitches need help!

Hey guys so last week I cut up my finger and had to get stitches. Do you think its alright if i use weights with them? or should I wait until I have them removed. I stopped working out totally for the last week I'm going to get back into cardio today but scared to use dumbbells.
anyone have any ideas?

    Probably not a good idea, if you are working out with heavy weights. You won't be able to get a good grip on the weights. The strain could reopen the wound. If you're using light weights, I'm not sure what to tell you.
