Everyone says to drink green tea to help you loose weight. Which brand or kind is the best? I know a lot of teas you buy in the grocery store are not good quality.

I don't know about it helping to lose weight, but my favorite is Tazo Zen.0

Green tea is good for you (flavonoids). I drink it, but IMO - the whole "weight loss by green tea" thing is exaggerated (hype).
I drink green tea that tastes good (to me) - it's just personal preference. I drink store tea, commercial brands, they may or may not be organic .... not a fussy tea drinker.
If this is terrible ...... who cares?0 -
I like Matcha tea over standard Green Tea. Much more benefits and taste is comparable.0

I'm a big fan of oolong tea or jasmine green tea. No idea if it helps with weight loss, but it's a gentle energiser and also helps my digestion0

I am going to give this a try. I did some research and it does looks like Matcha is superior to others. Hopefully they have some at my local Asian or health food store. I almost bought Sencha the other day but the price tag made me decide otherwise. I am sure Matcha will be more but the health benefits seem to be worth it. Thanks!!0 -
I love most of the teas from Republic of Tea. My current fav is their Raspberry Lime Green Tea. Flavored green teas are a great way to try green tea if plain is not your thing. Remember to heat the water just short of boiling or your green tea will be bitter.
I also make sun tea with with Bigelow 100% Organic Green Tea. I am hooked! Just put one tea bag per cup of water in a jar and cover it with a lid or plastic wrap. Set out in the sun for about 3 hours. I add a pack of stevia for every two cups of tea when it is finished.0 -
I also think the green tea weight loss link is overhyped but it is good for you, so I just drink whatever tastes good and don't count on any particular health benefits.
Lipton's cranberry pomegranate tastes like a jelly donut to me. Republic of Tea's pomegranate with one of their strawberry hibiscus together is awesome. Adding some citrus to green tea helps increase the absorption of the health benefits.
I like Truvia + Chilled Pom/Strawberry + Lime Juice + Carbonated Water. So good, and pink and pretty.0 -
The least processed paper no metal staples etc. Also it's been proven that cold brewed is better for you. I just bought an organic brand St. Dalfour mandarine orange green tea at the regular grocery store by the other teas, it was on sale for 3$ 25 tea bags, and it's made with the least processing etc. and my goodness you can really tell, it's delicious! here is a pic on amazon- http://www.amazon.com/ST-DALFOUR-Mandarin-1-75-Ounce-25-Count/dp/B000LKVRKG/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1335628301&sr=8-90

I've heard that Jasmine Green tea is really good with a tablespoon of french vanilla creamer0

I`ve heard a few times that caffinated green teas are the best
and I can vouch for that because having one cup early in the day
really curbs my apatite for at least 5 hours when drank along with
a good breakfast.0 -
If you want to try it for weight loss then you might want to look elsewhere. That is so overhyped it is unbelievable. It does have health benefits. Tea as a whole has many benefits not just greens.
Some good brands: Stash, Republic of Tea, Mighty Leaf and there is an online place that makes this incredible cinnamon orange flavor tea. It's Marketspice.com I think. Really good stuff.0
