NSV-Shopping!!

To preface my NSV tale...I started here bordering into the 5X department (eeek). I could ONLY shop @ Catherine's or online. I'sa big girl!
We were visiting family that live an hour away and planned on just going home, but they asked if just wanted to spend the night. We figured, what the heck, that will make it easier to go to church in the morning (we would have driven back the next morning anyways). We didn't have church clothes and there was a Kohl's, Lane Bryant and Catherine's in the same shopping center. So we went to Kohl's first to get the hubs & daughter something to wear. I saw their women's section, which I have NEVER been small enough to buy ANYTHING from. I figured I would check them out since I'm A LOT smaller now. I got a few dresses in 3x's and they were a little big, but still looked nice. We picked out my daughter's dress in purple and she INSISTED we match (she's 5), so I figured we'd go look again. I found a cute purple/coral maxi dress & grabbed a 2x & 3x. I went in and figured I would try on the 2x first to get the disappointment over with. I put it on and OMG....it FIT!!!! I didn't even need their BIGGEST size!! That was amazing to me.
Short story...My NSV is that my WHOLE family can buy clothes from the same department store and I do not NEED to shop at specialty stores all the time!!! Praise GOD!!!!

I am so glad someone asked this, I have been wondering the same since Feb 2012!
Great job on your NSV! That is a wonderful feeling. I had been stuck between Plus and Woman's and that is very frustrating.
Plus, way to big on shoulders, too long, arms slouch, Womans' Large to snug in the chest area, tight on arms, hugs tummy rolls. Not every store carries XL which usually fits nicely. I want to be a M or L! I am working towards it every day.
SO happy for you!
