Fitbit Charging Question

I just got a Fitbit for my girlfriend. I see that it only has a USB charger. We are going away for over a week and won't have access to a computer (or other USB device). Will the charger work with a USB A/C adapter like the one that came with my Droid phone?

It will work. It will also hold a charge for a week or more.
