MFP Day one

Starting with My Fitness Pal today. I started my journey last week, and I thought I was doing great, but I weighed this morning and saw +2 and almost wanted to cry! I've worked SO hard. I was losing an app called LoseIt!, and the RDI of calories was SO much higher than the RDI on MFP, so hopefully that solved the issue! I'm wanting to build a support group, they help me so much. So anyone that wants to add me, please feel free. I have researched and know a lot about what it takes to lose weight, it's just a matter of finding the will power to follow all the knowledge, which is something that I now have. Excited to see how it goes!

So I weighed my self this morning and lost 3lbs. It was my first week using this site correctly. I didn't eat all that healthy but I followed my calorie intake as described on this site. this week i will incorporate working out and eating healthier. Don't get discouraged. This site works .

Hi There! I am just starting too - on this site anyhow - have been dieting for a long time and just get fatter. Just turned 49, married with 2 daughters working full time and one large dog named Sweetpea. Would enjoy being an accountability buddy : )
I am also a Christian, but have been slacking on going to church and need to find one and get involved.

Laura...I have watched you work SO hard and have faith that you will succeed. Unfortunately, you have my genes so we just have to struggle a bit harder. I'm so proud of all that you are doing to get yourself in shape! You just wait...all of a sudden it will start kicking in and then WATCH OUT!!!
