New to Dieting

Hello everyone! I am 5'3" tall and weigh about 125 lbs. (I don't own a scale). I am 41 years old and after turning 40, I gained about 10 lbs. and my body doesn't look the way it used to look. I have never had to diet or exercise before and I normally eat healthy foods. My daily routine hasn't changed much but for whatever reason, I don't look as toned as I used to. So, my goal isn't primarily about losing weight (although I'd like to lose about 10 lbs.) but I am more interested in toning up my muscles. I have been working out (for a week) to a DVD - Buns of Steel 3. If anyone can recommend any type of workouts or food/recipe that works with toning up muscles, please kindly share with me! :smile:

BTW, I am so proud of all the people here achieving some amazing results! Keep up the great work!
