chocolate chip peanut butter granola bars

2 1/2 cups oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup coconut
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter chips
3 tablespoons corn syrup
3 tablespoons molases
3/8 cup smooth penut butter
1 egg
4 teaspoons vanilla

preheat oven to 350
spray an 8 inch square pan with cooking spray
in a microwave safe bowl add corn syrup, molases, peanut butter and vanilla
microwave for 1 minute
meanwile mix oats, brown sugar, coconut, both chips in a bowl
add the egg to the peanut butter mixter and stir well
add to the oat mixture
press firmly into the pan ( i spray my hands with pam and then press it really tight)
bake in the center of the oven for 20 to 25 minuts until the top is golden and the bars seem firm
let the pan cool on a wire rack completely befor cutting

cut into bars that weigh 30 grams

    Sounds yummy, I don't have a food scale at home, do you remember how many pieces you would cut it into?

    Those sound great! I don't have a scale for food. Out of that size pan about how many bars do you get?

    How do you messure you food portions?
    They are very cheep at the grocery store.

    I would say about 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch

    i am not sure how many bars becauce I tripple the recipe, because i supple my sisters familly plus I take some to church on sunday's
