My son and I made brownies today with m&m's in them and after dinners I decided to have one for dessert since I had the extra calories. Well I can honestly say that it tasted gross! It was so sweet that I will not be having another. I have dipped into candy since it was Easter but that brownie did nothing for me tonight whereas before I would have eaten most likely 3/4 of the pan.

It's amazing what avoiding processed sugars for a time can do. I'm finding the same thing as you, that I don't even want the stuff I used to because it tastes too sweet. Fruit, on the other hand, tastes better and better. Well, that and dark chocolate0

Good for you for not eating the rest and for noticing the taste! I agree with redhead - dark chocolate has an appeal now that it never did before0
