Retaining water, is it an issue?

I really think I have realized that my body can't get by with just 8 glasses of water. I really need 8-13 glasses of water a day. This is the second time I have used water to try to "heal" myself when I see my weight a little higher. I always feel so much better drinking more water and last time seen a loss, hoping for another one at weigh-in tomorrow.

Anyone else retain water easy and feel like they need to drink more than the reccomended 8 glasses?

    Yes I retain super easily! My weight fluctuates up to 9 pounds it's crazy!!
