Fitness Question....

I work nites (10p-7a) and want to start going to the gym consistently again this week (2-3 times a week to start).
Usually after work I go home and am in bed by 8a and sleep till 5p then get up and make dinner for the hubby.
Do you think it's better to work out for an hour in the morning and go to bed later or get up an hour earlier and work out before I start dinner?

I find when I work nights I go better if I go to the gym straight after work (Its on my way home) and do my training then. I tend to sleep better and not so rushed when I finally do get up0

Do it when you feel the strongest. The time doesn't matter.0

Whatever time of the day/night that you are most likely going to stick to it on a consistent basis is the best time to go. I prefer working out at night, after work and after dinner. But I have friends that hate it if they have to workout after noon and prefer to wake up super early to run before work or early morning on the weekends. Whereas my hubby prefers to workout after work, but before he's eaten dinner.
It's all a personal preference and you only have to do what works best for you and feels best for you.0 -
You go when you can "effectively" workout. If you're tired after work, then it may be best to go home. But you have to feel able to workout.
