So I got some but other than throwing it into soups, I'm totally lost. Any good recipes?

  • I've made vegetarian tacos using TVP before. I'm not sure, but I think this is the recipe I used: http://vegetarian.about.com/od/maindishentreerecipes/r/tvptacos.htm

One of my varsity athlete friends adds it to muffins and smoothies for extra protein, but I personally haven't tried that yet. :)

I've had some deelicious TVP meatballs on spaghetti and some wonderful sausage. From what I saw, they just used seasonings, a binding agent, and water and it came together nicely.

The best TVP always seems to be somehow blended with seitan and seasoned to make the finest meat substitute ever.. but I've no idea how they do that.

    Bump.

I have a package of tempeh in my fridge and have no idea what I'm going to do with it.
