Hello Everyone,
how many of you wear a heart rate monitor?
For those that do wear a heart rate monitor, do you go by the calorie readout or do you take off a percentage? I once heard that they can be wrong up to 30%, what is your take on this? I generally take off the 30%.
Thank you,

I have a Mio Classic but it died on me...it may just need a new battery.
You have to enter in you weight, sex, resting heart rate, etc. I go by the cals burned during a workout. The nice thing about the mio is it doesn't have a chest strap, although sometimes it would not pick up my workouts.
Curious to see what others are using.0 -
Ive got a Polar F7.
I go by the calorie burn it gives me - which is up to 50% less than the stats on here for workouts.0
